About Me
Hi,
I'm Lel Howard - Life Coach, Advanced Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, Nutritional Advise, Muay Thai Instructor & am GP Referral Qualified which means I can deal with people who have suffered from angina, diabetes, obesity, Stroke victims & other higher risk areas etc. which normal personal trainers should never do!
Why me? The short answer short:
Unlike those who have read about it, I have actual experience, I've weight trained for years, I've regularly run for upto 3hrs, Ive regularly cycled for over 50 miles, I've successfully dealt with my own weight issues, nutrition & back problems.
The not so short answer:
I'm 49 & cover the Pontarddulais (Not far from Llanelli) & surrounding areas for Life Coaching, Personal Training, Muay Thai (Thai kick boxing), Core Training, Circuit Training, Nutrition/Nutritional advice & Running & more.
So really what you want to know is why should you use me........
I have studied Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition, Muay Thai & various other areas (see qualifications page). I am trained to a higher level than standard personal trainers & as such am qualified to train those with illnesses such as history of Stroke, Diabetes, Parkinsons, Obesity, back pain etc.
I have been into Fitness Training for over 20 years now. When I was about 19/20 my weight seemed to go up over night to nearly 20 stone! Along with this I also suffered from severe back pains & eventually joint pains. After trying everything else from Hydrotherapy to Ultrasound, & the constant pain killers having less & less effect, my doctor suggested as I had tried everything else that the only thing left is the gym & hope improved fitness would provide the answer.
Sure enough over time it was exactly what the doctor ordered as the saying goes :o) I reduced my weight to a healthy 13.5 stone & became at 40 fitter, stronger & more flexible than I have ever been!
The benefits of exercise include increased flexibility, weight loss, increased sense of self worth & so much more.
It is also recognised that regular exercise can help with depression (another area I have experience in)
So whether you want to improve your self esteem, lose weight, increase strength, improve flexibility, train for an event or just make daily tasks that much easier, I am here to help!
I will guarantee that providing you follow my advice you will gain improvements in all these areas.
I know what it's like to be overweight, feel depressed or suffer with decreased mobility & so feel I am better placed than most to understand your needs.

Lel has achieved remarkable results with my son in just a few months. After a long illness my son had gained weight, was unfit, and had low self-esteem. I approached Lel regarding improving my core strength to aid an existing injury, he showed me his quick core routine, only takes 10 minutes to do! He’s also added progressive stretching into my existing workout and has provided advice on my road running and nutrition. I could feel the difference in the first week and haven’t looked back since. I'd highly recommend Lel, he explained everything very clearly and following his program after our initial session was easy
