*Self defence for women has some moves that would not be taught in the self defece for all due to the nature of some of the types of attacks that are specific to women.
Self defence can be taught one on one or within a group & is suitable for all ages but seems to be most beneficial for teenages up to 50yr olds
Price for a group doing the 4 x 1hr pop up course is just £25 per person for the whole course
Price for individuals wanting weekly (does not follow same curriculum as the pop up course) lessons is £25 for self defence combined with Muay Thai.
(Muay Thai is an andvanced form of kick boxing & is one of the oldest & deadliest of the martial arts).
Self Defence Pop Up Course:
Week 1:
Introduction to self defence
Psychology of being attacked / chased (using your brain as a defence)
Self defence basics (use of Palm, knee, heel, back of head, elbow etc.)
Week 2:
Defence against single hand choke
Defence against two handed choke
Defence against rear choke
Defence against clothing grab
Week 3:
Defence against knife by deflection
Defence against knife by grab
Week 4:
Class lead recap of weakest areas and practice
